Representative Office of CAMCE in Myanmar provides aids for Flood Victims

    On 7th, August 2015, under the leadership of Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, A disaster relief group, made up of Lv Dexing, Chairman of Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Myanmar, Wu Mingyuan, Vice-Chairman of Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Myanmar and Chief Representative of CAMCE in Myanmar, Lv Xiaoqun and some member enterprises, headed for the worst-hit areas salin city and pwintphyu city in Magwe division and delivered the supplies to flood victims, which were warmly welcomed by the flood survivors.  

    During supplies preparation for flood-stricken areas, Representative Office of CAMCE in Myanmar actively responded to the call of Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar and Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Myanmar, and purchased relief materials worth of over 58 million Kyats within two days and donated 1500 US dollars to the flood-hit areas.

    Besides, Chinese staffs and local staffs in Representative Office of CAMCE in Myanmar voluntarily made donations and contributions worth of 2 million Kyats and sent to disaster-hit areas as early as possible via local disaster relief institutions.

    The disaster relief effort made by CAMCE shows its courage to undertake social responsibility and further strengthens its social image in Myanmar.
