On 31st, August 2016, a delegation led by Li Shixiang, Member of Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Beijing, made an official visit and held seminars in SINOMACH, set up on-site office to resolve matters of concern of SINOMACH, steady growth of foreign trade as well as promotion of investment cooperation in Beijing, and took advices and suggestions on service improvement of Beijing. Lin Keqing, Vice Mayor of Beijing; relevant officials of Beijing; Chairman of SINOMACH Ren Hongbin, Vice President Xie Biao and Vice President Liu Jingzhen; Chairman of CAMCE Luo Yan, some division directors of SINOMACH; and heads of SINOMACH’s affiliated corporations attended the seminar.
After hearing report of SINOMACH’s development, its cooperative projects with Beijing and issues needing coordination and solution from Beijing government, Vice Mayor Li highly appreciated SINOMACH’s contribution to the steady growth of Beijing in the economic downturn. He said Beijing was in the critical period of transformation and upgrading, positioning itself as political center, cultural center, international exchange center and scientific and technological innovation center and implementing development strategy of environment-friendly Beijing, culture-enriched Beijing and technology-empowered Beijing. Adhering to the principle of deep integration, cooperation expansion and the supply-side structural reform, Beijing would enhance and advance all-round cooperation with central state-owned enterprises and hoped SINOMACH would be more engaged in scientific and technological innovation and key projects construction in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Luo Yan, Chairman of CAMCE, gave an account of China-Belarus Industrial Park and hoped Beijing government would encourage more Beijing municipal enterprises to enter the Park. The seminar yielded fruitful results and schedules have been made to help SINOMACH solve urgent problems.
On behalf of SINOMACH, Chairman Ren Hongbin expressed his appreciation to Beijing government for supporting both the Group and its affiliated enterprises, and for working on the spot in SINOMACH. He promoted the concept of serving Beijing, and dig out SINOMACH’s potential, integrating SINOMACH’s development and Beijing’s transformation and upgrading, and made more contribution to Beijing’s development.
