Chairman of CAMCE Luo Yan Participated in the Philippines-China Trade and Investment Forum

    On the afternoon of Oct. 20th 2016, Chairman of CAMCE Luo Yan in the Great Hall of the People participated in the Philippines-China Trade and Investment Forum with the theme of "new chapter, new energy, new development". Chinese Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, and Philippines President Duterte who makes his state visit to China attended the forum's opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Chairman of CCPIT Jiang Zengwei presided over the forum. Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli stressed that the Philippines is not a moving away neighbors, and to achieve good-neighborly and friendly relations is the only correct choice between the two countries. The China and Philippines have broad prospects in carrying out pragmatic cooperation, and need to strengthen the development of strategic docking, carry out in-depth in the field of infrastructure, production, trade and investment, poverty alleviation and other agricultural cooperation, make close cultural exchanges and consolidate public opinion between the two countries friendly in order to promote the development of bilateral relations forward in the new starting point for the benefit of the two peoples and future generations. Philippines President Duterte said that Philippines and China both are Asian countries with interlinked cultures and similar idea. The Philippines is willing to deepen cooperation with China in various fields, will make the development of relations with China as one of the key foreign policy, and welcome China's further expansion of money and investments to promote the development of Philippines. Philippines admires China's development achievements, and is also willing to learn from China's development experience. Thanks to Chinese help, Philippines hope to implement the series of consensus in this state visit with Chinese side.
