On February 18, 2020, the State Council held a press conference on the joint mechanism to contain the epidemic of COVID-19, presenting the assisstance contributed by state-owned companies.

　　The Deputy Director of the State Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and member of the SASAC Communist Party Committee Ren Hongbin said at the meeting that since the outbreak of COVID-19, SASAC has taken the prevention and the control of the epidemic as the most important task, mobilizing, deploying and guiding comprehensively the prevention and control of the epidemic of the state-owned companies. State-owned companies have taken the initiative to join the front line in the fight against COVID-19 regardless of cost, fully playing the role of the main force and the national team. China IPPR International Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CAMCE, reviewed the drawings of Wuhan Xiaotangshan Hospital within hours of request and provided timely technical support to Wuhan, which effectively contributed to the construction of specialized hospitals and thus supported the fight against COVID-19.
