SINOMACH and PetroChina signed a framework agreement to deepen strategic cooperation

  On September 2, 2020, SINOMACH and China National Petroleum Corporation (PetroChina) signed a framework agreement in Beijing to deepen strategic cooperation. Zhang Xiaolun, Chairman of SINOMACH, and Dai Houliang, Chairman of PetroChina, witnessed the signing. Ding Hongxiang, Deputy General Manager of SINOMACH, and Lv Bo, Deputy General Manager of PetroChina, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Sun Miao, Secretary of the Board of SINOMACH, and Wang Yuhang, General Manager of CAMCE attended the event. 

  According to the agreement, the two parties will adhere to the principles of complementary advantages, resource sharing, equality, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership, and strengthen cooperation in the fields of equipment and technology, engineering, finance, international operations and related services. The two sides will also establish four mechanisms for high-level strategic communication, special liaison at the work level, information exchange and sharing, and mutual benefits to promote the in-depth development of cooperation.

  Before the signing ceremony, Zhang Xiaolun and Dai Houliang communicated on deepening cooperation. Both parties stated that as early as 2015, the two companies signed a strategic cooperation agreement, establishing a long-term and solid foundation for cooperation. After the outbreak of COVID-19, the two sides have overcome difficulties and cooperated for mutual benefit, and jointly made due contributions to the production and supply of national medical supplies and the overseas fight against the epidemic. In the future, the two parties will thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions, give full play to their respective advantages, grasp the new development pattern of domestic and international dual-cycle mutual promotion, and work together to implement national strategies and optimize state-owned capital layout, promote industrial agglomeration, transformation and upgrading, and better lead state-owned enterprises to deepen reform.

  Heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries of PetroChina, relevant heads of the Strategic Investment Department and subsidiaries of SINOMACH participated in the above activities.
