On October 12, Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of National Development Coordination and Supervision of Sri Lanka, and Johnston Fernando, Minister of Roads and Highways, inspected the Mahakithula Reservoir project undertaken by CAMCE . 

　　After listening to the project progress report, the ministers visited the construction site, affirmed the professional capabilities and project progress of CAMCE. The ministers instructed relevant departments to provide sufficient guarantee and support for the follow-up implementation to ensure the smooth completion of the project, so as to provide local residents production and domestic water as soon as possible. 

　　The Mahakithula Reservoir Project is the third irrigation project implemented by CAMCE in Sri Lankan，which is an important part of the Northwestern Province Water Conservancy Project Plan implemented by the Asian Development Bank and the Sri Lankan government. After the project is completed, it will benefit more than 12,000 hectares of farmland and hundreds of thousands of villagers in the surrounding area.
