Mauritanian President attended the commissioning ceremony of the high-voltage transmission line supporting substation undertaken by CAMCE
On March 9, local time, Ghazouani, President of Mauritania accompanied by Prime Minister Bilal and Li Baijun, Chinese Ambassador to Mauritania, attended the commissioning ceremony of the Nouakchott-Nouadhibou 225/90kV high-voltage transmission line supporting substation undertaken by CAMCE.
Salah,Minister of Petroleum, Energyand Mines said that the completion of the project will greatly improve the power supply capacity of Nouadhibou, the economic capital of Mauritania, and the large industrial and mining enterprises in the north, and promote the country's economic development. In addition to improving the power access level of the region along the route, the project is also of great significance to the development of local natural gas, solar energy, wind energy and energy export to neighboring countries.
President Ghazouani and his delegation visited the 225kV substation of the Nouakchott North Power Plant under the project and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the station, announcing the official operation of the substation.
