Wang Bo Attends 2026 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation and Conducts Series of Business Activities
On May 28, the 2026 Conference on International Industrial Cooperation was grandly held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. Co-hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), the conference was held under the guidance of China's Ministry of Commerce and with special support from Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry. Wang Bo, Assistant General Manager of SINOMACH, Chairman of CMEC Group and CAMCE, was invited to lead a delegation to the conference and conduct a series of business activities.
The conference was designed to comprehensively serve international cooperation in industrial and supply chains, promote the integration of trade and investment, and advance regional integration. The opening ceremony was moderated by Mr. Zheng Chao, Executive Vice President of CCCME and Chairman of its Expert Committee. A video address was delivered by Mr. Zhang Li, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China. Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and for Trade and Industry of Singapore, and Mr. Cao Zhongming, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Remarks were also given by Mr. Khoo Choon Keng, President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), and Mr. Liu Chun, President of CCCME, among other distinguished guests. More than 500 representatives from government agencies, leading enterprises, renowned universities, academic institutions, and professional bodies in the fields of finance and law—representing China, Singapore, and other RCEP member countries—attended the opening ceremony.
Wang Bo Delivers Keynote Speech at Thematic Seminar on "Green Supply Chain and Sustainable Development"
In his speech titled "Building a Green Supply Chain for a Sustainable Future Together," Wang Bo pointed out that the green supply chain has expanded beyond the single dimensions of procurement and project construction to become a systematic framework covering the entire project lifecycle and all segments of the industrial chain. He noted that CMEC Group and its member companies have developed and implemented the "Four Green" concept—encompassing Green Design, Green Engineering, Green Manufacturing and Green Industry—as their core guiding principle. He also shared practical experience from CAMCE's waste-to-energy projects in Tashkent and Andijan, Uzbekistan. Wang Bo stated that CMEC Group looks forward to working with all parties to implement more high-standard, sustainable and livelihood-enhancing green projects.
Engagements at the Brand Exhibition
At the CMEC Group booth of the brand exhibition, Wang Bo engaged in in-depth exchanges with Ms. Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and for Trade and Industry of Singapore; Mr. Cao Zhongming, Chinese Ambassador to Singapore; Mr. Khoo Choon Keng, President of SCCCI; Mr. Liu Chun, President of CCCME; and Mr. Zheng Chao, Executive Vice President of CCCME and Chairman of its Expert Committee. Wang Bo provided a detailed introduction to the business characteristics of SINOMACH and CMEC Group, highlighting the company's strengths and achievements in industrialization, green infrastructure, new energy and industrial chain collaboration, while also proposing innovative ideas and suggestions for leveraging Singapore's geographical advantages to expand international cooperation.
Meeting with Industry Think Tank
Wang Bo was invited to meet with Mr. Asif Chaudhury, Senior Vice President of The Economist Group, where he received an analysis from the Economist Intelligence Unit on ASEAN's macroeconomic and political trends as well as new directions in cooperation with China. The two sides exchanged views on the development direction of emerging industries, industrial chain resource coordination, and development opportunities in key countries.
During the visit, Wang Bo also met with key leaders of industry organizations such as SCCCI and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, establishing cooperative relationships and strengthening the business foundation for the company's long-term presence and development in Singapore and the ASEAN region.
