This project was invested by Agro-forestry Co., Ltd.. During the construction, IFC environmental protection and occupational health and safety standards were adopted. It can produce 50,000 tons of plywood that meets FSC certification, which will be the largest and most environmentally friendly plywood plant in Laos with the highest degree of automation and the most advanced technology. The project passed the performance test on March 26 and reached the production standard. The final acceptance was completed on April 1, and the handover certificate was signed on April 6. The commissioning of the project will boost local government revenue, create jobs for more than 1,000 people, and contribute to local social and economic development.
