The China-Cambodia Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital was officially opened
On March 21, The China-Cambodia Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, was officially opened, with the whole process of engineering consultation undertaken by China IPPR, a subsidiary of CAMCE. Cambodian Prime MinisterSamdech Hun Senand Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentianattended the launch ceremony in Phnom Penh.
The China-Cambodia Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital was built with aid from China and organized and implemented by the Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China. China IPPR undertook survey and design, engineering supervision and project management, practicing the construction mode of high-quality development of whole-process engineering consultation guided by design. The newly constructed medical building covers a total construction area of 33,000 square meters and has 400 beds. It is a comprehensive teaching hospital medical building, including outpatient and emergency care, medical technology departments, internal and surgical wards and related ancillary facilities, and equipped with perfect first-class medical equipment.
