On March 22, CAMCE signed the final letter of acceptance for the fChina-aided Chone Hospital in Ecuador by  the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, the Ministry of Health, and the Supervisor in Ecuador, marking the smooth end of the warranty period. 

　　The original Chone Hospital was damaged in the earthquake on April 16, 2016. Chinese government decided to rebuild a 120-bed general hospital on the original site, integrating medical treatment, scientific research and prevention. The new hospital covers an area of 21,637.89 square meters, and the indoor construction area is 13,361.54 square meters. It is the first complete set of engineering projects aided by the Chinese government to Ecuador without compensation, and it is also the first hospital equipped with a new type of anti-seismic device in Ecuador. 

　　The hospital is fully operational, providing high-quality inclusive medical services for the public, effectively helping the local epidemic prevention and control, and demonstrating the profound friendship between the governments and peoples of China and Ecuador.
