CAMCE and the Angolan Sovereign Fund signed memorandum of cooperation
On April 15, during the visit of Li Xiaoyu, Deputy General Manager of Sinomach, to Angola, CAMCE signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Angolan sovereign fund (FSDEA). Wang Bo, the Chairman of CMEC Group and CAMCE, and Armando Manuel, the Chairman of FSDEA, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Li Xiaoyu, Zhao Weilin, the Chairman of China YTO Group, and members of the FSDEA Board attended the meeting and witnessed the signing.
According to the memorandum of cooperation, CAMCE will give full play to its rich experience in construction and operation and maintenance services in the field of agricultural engineering, and jointly carry out all-round cooperation with FSDEA in industrial planning, investment and financing, project construction, operation and management. Both sides will jointly create a pattern of integrated development in the sugar industry and other related industrial chains, leaving more industrial added value in Africa and creating a new sustainable development situation for China Africa agricultural cooperation.
The signing of this memorandum of cooperation has enhanced the strategic mutual trust relationship between the two sides. It is a vivid practice and response to the guidance of "strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy and electricity, industrialization, agricultural machinery, and deep processing of agricultural products" proposed by Wang Bo during the visit of Angolan President Lorenzo to China in March 2024. Sinomach and its affiliated enterprises will deepen strategic coordination with sovereign funds to jointly build a new pattern of high-quality development for both sides. The meeting also had sufficient exchanges on topics such as cooperation in other agricultural fields, equipment manufacturing, and joint expansion of business in Africa.
