August 22 (Local Time) – Mr. Yan Hailu, Vice President of CAMCE, and Ms. Rosa Castillo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure of Nicaragua, signed the commercial contract for the Supporting Road Project of Punta Huete International Airport in Nicaragua. The signing marks a significant achievement in further deepening bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction between the two countries. As an extension and expansion of the Punta Huete International Airport Project, it represents another major breakthrough for CAMCE in the Nicaraguan market.

The project involves the design, procurement, and construction of a dual four-lane expressway dedicated to serving the Punta Huete International Airport. Upon completion, it will become the first toll road in Nicaragua. Serving as a vital link between the capital city, Managua, and the new international airport, the road will significantly enhance airport accessibility and regional transportation efficiency, reduce travel time, improve road conditions, and optimize the travel experience for passengers. The project will not only contribute to increasing national fiscal revenue and airport operational efficiency but also play an active role in strengthening public services, improving the infrastructure system, and shaping the country’s international image. It will provide robust support for regional development and the nation’s modernization process.

The successful signing of this project represents a significant achievement under the guidance of the company's 14th Five-Year Plan, which emphasizes optimizing market layout and achieving rolling development in key markets.
