On January 3, a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held at the site of the Iraq Diwaniyah Hospital Project, undertaken by CAMCE on an EPC turnkey basis. Government officials including Abbas Shuael Al-Zamali, Governor of Diwaniyah Province, Muhannad Naeem Hussein Al-Miyali, Director of the Provincial Health Department, and members of the Parliament attended the ceremony.

In his address, Governor Abbas Shua'il Al-Zamili stated that the Diwaniyah Hospital Project is a major livelihood initiative eagerly anticipated by local residents. Upon completion, it will significantly alleviate the shortage of medical resources and outdated healthcare technology in the region, providing strong support for improving local medical services and safeguarding public health.

The project manager of CAMCE emphasized that CAMCE has deep expertise in medical infrastructure construction, leveraging robust professional capabilities and extensive practical experience to maintain a leading position in China's medical architecture industry. CAMCE will integrate its top technical teams and core management resources to advance the project with a focus on efficiency and quality, striving to build it into a benchmark project for China-Iraq livelihood cooperation and injecting strong momentum into deepening the traditional friendship and practical collaboration between the two countries.

he Diwaniyah Hospital Project represents another achievement in Iraq's medical sector, following the Muthanna Hospital Project, demonstrating CAMCE's strengths under its "One Body, Two Wings" development framework. China IPPR, a subsidiary of CAMCE, has been deeply involved in the project's development and design optimization, forming an integrated advantage from front-end planning to back-end execution, which serves as a "trump card" for CAMCE to solidify its presence in the overseas healthcare sector.
