Wang Bo paid a visit to Jessica Alubo, Vice President of Uganda

　　 Recently, Wang Bo, Chairman of CMEC Group and CAMCE, paid a visit to Jessica Alubo, Vice President of Uganda, who was attending the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in Beijing. Jeje Odongo, Foreign Minister, Katumba Wamala, Minister of Engineering and Transport and Oliver Wonekha, Uganda's Ambassador to China attended the meeting.

　　Wang Bo warmly welcomed the Vice President and his delegation to visit China on behalf of CMEC Group and CAMCE, and expressed gratitude for taking the time for meeting. He introduced the company's development history, main business areas, and business situation in Uganda. Wang Bo pointed out that combined with Uganda's "Vision 2040" development direction, relying on the comprehensive advantages of its parent company, Sinomach, such as wide coverage in the industrialization field, strong research and development capabilities, and outstanding service capabilities throughout the entire industry chain, the company will continue to create more high-quality projects and livelihood projects, promote Uganda's acceleration of industrialization process, optimize industrial structure, and enhance people's well-being. Wang Bo reviewed the Four Industrial Parks Power Transmission Project in Uganda undertaken by CAMCE, as well as a series of projects related to cooperation. He thanked the Ugandan side for its strong support for the company's business in Uganda and looked forward to the continuous expansion of cooperation in more fields such as energy, oil and gas, power transmission and transformation, and agriculture, to make more contributions to Uganda's social and economic development and industrial transformation.

　　The Vice President highly praised the achievements of CAMCE in Uganda. The successful operation of the Four Industrial Parks Power Transmission Project has significantly improved the local power supply and made important contributions to Uganda's economic and social development. The Vice President also provided a detailed introduction to Uganda's current industrialization development plan and needs, and looked forward to further participation of CAMCE in the development and construction of Uganda's oil and gas industry and agricultural product deep processing industry chain. The Vice President hopes to leverage China's advanced technological advantages and CAMCE's outstanding engineering construction capabilities to promote the signing and implementation of relevant projects as soon as possible, help Uganda accelerate its modernization process, and continuously strengthen and deepen friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between China and Uganda.

　　Deputy Prosecutor General of the Ministry of Justice, Director of the External Debt Department of the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Finance of Uganda, and Deputy General Manager of the No.2 Engineering Department of CAMCE, attended the above-mentioned meeting.
