It is the medical infrastructure project with the widest coverage and the highest degree of modernization in Guyana so far, and also the first project of CAMCE in Guyana. After completion, the project will serve as a brand new modern medical platform, carrying and gathering high-quality medical resources, comprehensively improving the level of medical services in Guyana, and benefiting the people of Guyana.
The Lima Hospital visited by President Ali is located in Region 2 of Guyana, and is the second hospital among the six to start construction. Meanwhile, Lima Hospital is also the farthest regional hospital from the capital of Guyana, Georgetown, with the least convenient transportation and the most difficult transportation of materials and supplies.
