EPCC of CPF-Oil Treatment System and Auxiliary Systems Project for Block 9 in Iraq Honored as "Milestone Project in China's Chemical Construction"
Recently, during the forum "Four Decades of Development in Chemical Construction: Retrospect and Future Outlook" hosted by the China Association of Chemical Engineering Construction, the EPCC of CPF-Oil Treatment System and Auxiliary Systems Project(the Block 9 Project), constructed by CAMCE, was awarded the title of "Milestone Project in China's Chemical Construction" after a comprehensive multi-dimensional selection process. This honor not only reflects the full recognition of the project’s achievements by industry experts but also highlights the high regard for CAMCE’s comprehensive capabilities in the petrochemical construction sector.
Located in Basra Province, Iraq, the Block 9 Project commenced construction in early 2022. It stands as the first oil and gas surface engineering facility in Iraq capable of simultaneous oil and gas processing, and is also one of the most technologically integrated projects of its kind. Facing multiple complex challenges, including the harsh natural environment of the Middle East characterized by extreme heat and frequent sandstorms, as well as cross-cultural collaboration, CAMCE leveraged its extensive experience and technical expertise accumulated from years of executing large-scale international projects. By innovatively integrating internal and external high-quality resources and implementing professional management and refined construction practices throughout every phase of the project, CAMCE ensured efficient progress with its high-standard project execution capabilities.
