At 10:08 on the morning of 25th, August 2015 of local time, a Grand Opening Ceremony of Vientiane New World (VNW) of Laos was successfully held. Some important figures including mayor Dr. Sinlavong Khoutphaithoune and vice mayor Keophilavanh Aphailath of Vientiane; Guan Huabing, the Chinese Ambassador to Laos; Zhao Wenyu, Economic and Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy to Laos; Zhao Lizhi, Party Secretary and Vice President of CAMCE, Wang Huifang, Chief Financial Officer of CAMCE; Liu Shengcheng, Assistant President of CAMCE attended the opening ceremony. Besides, more than 200 people including government officials of Laos, representatives from China General Chamber of Commerce, major Chinese banks stationed in Laos as well as major banks of Laos, China-invested enterprises in Laos and customers of New World Square of Vientiane witnessed the grand opening of the first exotic commercial street in Laos.
Mr. Zhao, Vice President of CAMCE and Keophilavanh Aphailath Vice Mayor of Vientiane delivered speeches respectively. After that, National Art Troupe of Laos staged Laos’ traditional dance-champa.
After the ceremony, the distinguished guests accompanied by Mr. Zhao visited the commercial street. At night, CAMCE Investment (Laos) Co., LTD held an event themed “Vientiane New World, Night of Mekong River, Carnival Musical Party” at the Tree of Life Square of VNW.
The VNW Project is the first real estate project invested and developed by CAMCE in Laos, and the first urban complex of Laos keeping up with the world pace. It integrates fancy dining, leisure and recreation, beauty SPA, dynamic bars and boutique shopping. The completion of VNW Square will offer a one-stop business place featuring beautiful environment, rational planning and standard management to local residents. As the first modern business street of Laos, it will become a sleepless city with people lingering on without any thought of leaving, it will become an exotic street epitomizing Laos’ history and culture, and it will become a paradise for shopping, gourmet, entertainment and tourism of Laos.
