CAMCE Signed Contract Agreement of Bio-refinery Project in Finland

On 5th April 2017 local time, in conjunction with the Chinese presidential visit to Finland of Mr. Xi Jinping, Ms. Luo Yan as Chairman and President of China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) and Mr. Heikki Nivala as Chairman and CEO of Boreal Bioref Ltd (BB) signed in Helsinki a Contract Agreement pertaining to the Bio-refinery project in Finland. The Contract price amounts to 800 million Euros with a project duration of 30 months. In accordance with the Contract Agreement, CAMCE will build a bio-refinery plant (pulp mill) in Kemijärvi, Lapland, Finland with an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons through providing design, supply, civil construction, installation, commissioning and personnel training and other services. This is the first contract in the field of pulp and paper in line with stated "Three Linkage" strategy of CAMCE.

In the field of pulp and paper, CAMCE is committed to locate a wide range of resources and market prospects for investing and pulp mill construction, and furthermore buying the products back to meet increasingly prosperous demand of China market. A successful realization of the Bio-refinery Project in Finland will drive local employment, promote trade between China and Finland, achieve mutual benefits and win-win, and enhance contributions to the Initiative of "One Belt, One Road".
