Machinery and Electronics Networking Meeting of China-Belarus Industrial Park Successfully Held

Machinery and Electronics Networking Meeting, cosponsored by Belarus Embassy to China, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products and China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd., was held in Beijing on 31, May 2018. Over 160 representatives from Ministry of Commerce of China, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of China (SASAC), Ministry of Economic Affairs of Belarus, Ministry of Industry of Belarus and Management Committee of China-Belarus Industrial Park attended the networking meeting.

Speeches were delivered by Zhang Xingfu, Deputy Director of Department of Cooperation of Ministry of Commerce of China; Meng Huaqiang, Deputy Director of Planning Bureau of SASAC, Belarusian Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Rudy, and Deputy Economy Minister P. Utiupin of Belarus respectively.

Liu Xuesong, Deputy Director of Euroasia Department of Ministry of Commerce of China, introduced trade and economic cooperation between China and Belarus and the general situation on Eurasian Economic Union. Head of Investment and Energy Development Division of Ministry of Industry of Belarus, presented the basic situation of machinery of Belarus and dialogue cooperation. Li Haixin, General Manager of China-Belarus Industry Park Development Co., Ltd., briefed the situation of the Park. And Deputy Director of Management Committee of China-Belarus Industrial Park, introduced the one-stop service offered by the Park.

At last, Chinese electromechanical companies conducted investment negotiations with their counterparts from Belarus.

A total of 35 companies has invested in China-Belarus Industrial Park, and 12 of them entered the Park between January and May this year. The companies come from China, Belarus, Israel, Germany and a third country. The Park picks up its pace in international development, and its industrial attractiveness has been enhanced to a great extent.
