On January 21, the consortium formed by CAMCE and CNOOC Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. signed the general contract of central processing facility-crude oil treatment system project of Block 9 of Iraq with Kuwait Energy Basra Co., Ltd., which took effect immediately.

　　The project is located in the northern part of Basra province in southern Iraq, and the block covers an area of 865 square kilometers. The project is to build an oil central processing facility with a daily output of 100,000 barrels, which mainly includes the design, procurement, construction and commissioning services of oil processing systems and auxiliary systems.
