President Xi Jinping and President Putin meet with Chinese-Russian Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development, media and business representatives in Moscow on 4th, July 2017. Ren Hongbin, Chinese Chairman of Businessman Council of Chinese-Russian Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development, made a report to the two heads of states on behalf of business representatives.
President Xi said the Committee has been established for 20 years and has made great contribution to the sound, stable and smooth development of comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between China and Russia as the main channel for people to people exchanges. President Xi hopes that businessmen, media and friendly groups of both countries continue to advance Sino-Russian relation, spread friendship and be a pioneer to promote pragmatic cooperation between China and Russia.
President Putin said the friendly exchanges between two peoples play a significant role in enhancing Sino-Russian relation and promote their cooperation. And he showed his sincere appreciation to the positive contribution made by Chinese-Russian Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development, Chinese-Russian Friendship Association, and business community and media from both sides. Multiple bilateral cooperation plans have been reached during President Xi's visit, and these plans can't be implemented without the efforts of both governments and support of all walks of life of both nations.

Chairman Ren Hongbin said the Businessman Council of the Committee will set up a regular meeting mechanism for enterprises of both nations to advance electronization of bilateral business signing, and create a more efficient and more economic trade and economy environment for business exchanges. The Businessman Council of the Committee will work together with Russian side in the direction instructed by both leaders. As a cooperation and exchange platform, the Businessman Council of the Committee will enhance understanding, trust and cooperation of both sides, work actively to build the Belt and Road and connect Eurasian economic union to advance the pragmatic cooperation of bilateral economy and trade to a higher level and make greater contribution to enrich the strategic contents of Sino-Russian relation.
