On July 4, 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Putin met with the China-Russia Commission on friendship, peace and development, media and the representatives of business circles in Moscow. Chairman of SINOMACH, Chinese chairman of the China-Russia Industrial Council for the Commission on friendship, peace and development Ren Hongbin, as the representatives of business circles, reported to the heads of state of China and Russia.     President Xi Jinping pointed out that the China-Russia Commission on friendship, peace and development was founded 20 years ago, as the main channel of folk contacts between China and Russia, it has made important contributions to create the more healthy, stable and developing comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia.

    President Putin said, the folk China-Russian friendly exchanges strengthened the relations of two countries and played an important role in promoting the cooperation between two countries, and thanks to the China-Russia Commission on friendship, peace and development, Russia-China Friendship Association and other friendly organizations, and business circles and media of the two countries made the positive contribution.

    Chairman of SINOMACH Ren Hongbin said in the report, the high level development of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, provides a rare opportunity for the depth of cooperation between enterprises of the two countries; and the China-Russia Industrial Council for friendship, peace and development, as the platform for China-Russia enterprises cooperation and exchange, will promote bilateral capacity cooperation, expand financial services, and is committed to creating a better environment for economic and trade cooperation, and actively promote the implementation of "Belt And Road" construction and the Eurasian Economic Union docking, and promoting China-Russian bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a higher level of development.
