Chairman of CAMCE Luo Yan Participated the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Business Forum

    On the morning of June 6, 2018, the Chairman of CAMCE Luo Yan went to Beijing Diaoyutai State Guest House to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization ( SCO ) Business Forum. The theme of this forum is "Deepening Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation to Achieve Common Development and Prosperity", and chaired by Wu Meng, Vice Minister of Bilateral Cooperation of China International Chamber of Commerce.

    At the opening ceremony of the Business Forum, Chen Zhou, Vice President of CCPIT ( China Council for the Promotion of International Trade ), Wang Kaixuan, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Division of the Ministry of Commerce, and Liu Jianjun, Vice Mayor of Qingdao Province, delivered speeches respectively.

    Subsequently, the Business Forum held the plenary meetings on the theme of "building a strategic docking platform, promoting interconnection and cooperation" and "promoting the facilitation of investment trade and promoting innovation and development of small and medium enterprises". The guests delivered speeches on the related topics and exchanged questions and answers with the representatives of the participants.

    The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organization, which was announced in June 15, 2001 in Shanghai, sponsored by Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2017, the SCO expanded its membership for the first time and formally incorporated the Republic of India and Pakistan among its member states.
