Special Coverage of China-Belarus Industrial Park, A Pearl on the Belt and the Road, by Phoenix Satellite TV

  On the evening of June 9, 2019, Phoenix Satellite TV's "Dragon World" program aired a special report on China-Belarus Industrial Park constructed by CAMCE.

  The program presents how the industrial fund has become the support of China's high-tech exports to countries along the Belt and Road. It shows how Belarus draws on China's experiences and conducts economic reforms based on China's reform and opening up. Meanwhile, Belarus develops China-Belarus Industrial Park in collaboration with Chinese government and Chinese enterprises. Via in-depth interviews with government officials and universities' faculty, General Manager of the China-Belarus Joint Venture Li Haixin, and representatives of invested companies in the Park, it shows that China-Belarus Industrial Park, as the largest joint venture project between China and Belarus, promotes the industrial restructuring and technology upgrading of Belarus so as to promote its economic development on all fronts.

  Known as the Pearl of the Belt and Road, China-Belarus Industrial Park is China's largest economic cooperation zone overseas with the highest level of cooperation. On the initiative of leaders from both sides, China-Belarus Industrial Park is jointly developed and built by SINOMACH and China Merchants Group with great support from both governments as well. To date, the Park has completed infrastructure construction of 8.5 square kilometers achieving seven connections and one leveling. A standard plant of 29,332 square meters has been completed and an office building of 14,000 square meter has been completed and put into use as well. A total of 44 companies have resided in the park and the total investment in the agreement amounts to nearly USD 1.1billion. In summary, the international characteristics of the Park are beginning to take shape.
